(for now all maternal instincts
are met vicariously by hanging
out with a few of my friends who
have kids).
Current job - Public Relations
Group Director for a
marketing/advertising and public
relation agency in a suburb of
Washington DC. Most of our
clients are private companies in
the high tech space, so I work
with my account teams to get
editors to write about exciting
things like embedded voice over
IP software and Web-enabled
translation memory.
Since high school - was
promotions director for a radio
station in DC for four years,
lived in the Czech Republic for
three years teaching English,
working at a Czech radio station
and managing a sports bar, lived
in Atlanta for a year mainly
doing public relations and
marketing for a software company
and have been back up in the DC
area a little over three years. |

I was hired at
Whirlpool Corporation Marion
Division in 1986 and have never
been released. I am now a Raw
Parts/Flow Coat Expeditor. I am
going to MTC trying to get a dual
degree in Manufacturing
Engineering/Quality Assurance. I
have been married to Keith
Fissell (Class of '71) for 9
years. We have two wonderful
kids, Kelsi Layne(12) and Caleb
Allan (8). Kelsi is said to be
the spitting image of her mama.
She is 5'10" and still
growing like a really bad weed.
She is playing volleyball,
basketball, softball, soccer and
still finds time to be involved
in 4-H (she shows horses at the
Morrow County Fair) and the youth
group at Mt. Gilead Southern
Baptist Church. Caleb is an
orange belt in Tae Kwon Do and
assures me that he will be a
black belt before I am too old to
care. He also plays baseball
(catcher), soccer, and still
deciding if he wants to do the
horse thing too. Keith is a
Corrections officer at the Morrow
County Jail. Isn't that strange??
I tried so very hard to stay away
from the cops when.... Well
anyway, I am glad to see this web
page and if anyone is out there
drop me a line or two. I am sure
that I will be able to answer. |

Hopefully, we will eventually add
real people to our family.
After graduation, I worked in
Columbus for a few years at a
financial planning office. When I
lived through the market crash of
'89 and was completely bored, I
decided that finance was not the
place for me. Boston seemed like
a nice place, so I packed my car
and moved there. I lived there
for two years working as a
clothing store manager and
enjoying my early twenties. This
got me interested in fashion, so
I moved to New York City to
return to school at the Fashion
Institute of Technology. I've
been working for GFT(USA) for
about 6 years. This is an Italian
company that manufactures and
distributes clothing for such
designers as Giorgio Armani,
Calvin Klein, Joseph Abboud,
Valentino, etc, etc. My position
originally was to open retail
stores that sold GFT merchandise.
So, I did a lot of traveling all
over the US doing this. In my
current position, I oversee all
of the construction for corporate
and any other projects they need
me to head up. |
